In short: Git Client is licensed to you, not sold. Use it only with repositories and systems you’re allowed to access. AI review and Jira are optional and run on your own accounts. Nothing is posted to GitHub without your click.
Git Client is provided by SolvixaLabs and licensed, not sold, to you. If you obtained it from the Mac App Store, it is licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”); these Terms add to it, and if they conflict, these Terms apply to the extent the law allows. If you obtained it as a direct download from our website, these Terms alone govern your use. By downloading or using Git Client you agree to them.
Git Client requires a GitHub account. AI review requires your own Anthropic API key, and Jira features require a Jira Cloud site and your own API token. Those services are provided by their own companies under their own terms and pricing, and we are not responsible for them, their availability, or what they charge you.
Where Git Client is distributed through the Mac App Store, Apple takes any payment and shows you the price in your local currency before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple and requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. AI review and Jira are billed by Anthropic and Atlassian respectively, directly to you under your own accounts with them — we never charge you for those.
Use Git Client only with repositories, organisations and systems you are authorised to access. You must not use it to gain unauthorised access to anything, to breach the terms of GitHub, Atlassian or Anthropic, or to do anything unlawful. You are responsible for what you push, post, merge and comment, and for complying with the policies of the organisations whose code you work on.
Your code, commits, comments and reviews are yours. We claim no rights over them and never receive them. Git Client acts on your behalf locally and against the services you connect; nothing is posted to GitHub until you click to post it, including AI findings, which are only ever suggestions for you to accept, edit or discard.
AI review is optional, runs under your own Anthropic account, and is assistive only. Generated reviews, commit messages and conflict suggestions can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. You remain responsible for reviewing, testing and approving any change before it is merged or pushed. We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete or fit for any purpose, and it is not professional advice.
We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop distributing Git Client or a particular edition of it. The App Store edition and the direct download differ in what macOS allows each to do — for example the integrated terminal and build tasks are only in the direct download.
Git Client is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. It works with version control, local files and live repositories: keep backups and review what you are about to do, particularly for operations that rewrite history or discard work. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolvixaLabs is not liable for lost data, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Git Client. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If these Terms change, the effective date above changes with it, and a material change will be noted in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use Git Client after that means you accept the revised Terms.
